Circus Magazine Vol 4
|Publisher Names||by Circus Journal|
Welcome to volume four of Circus Journal. This time it’s all about you.
Soon we’ll shed our coats and the spring will return to our step. This issue is all about new beginnings, blank slates and making things better. We steer away from mass marketing with preloved fashion and small-batch beauty, proving you can help make a change without compromising your style. Supper club boss Noya Pawlyn serves up a favourite dish and the story of her own fresh start; and landscape designers Urquhart & Hunt take a tentative step into spring gardening.
We celebrate the simple act of drawing; how a blank page can take you wherever you want to go, and try to remember how our brains work with the lost art of map-reading. Still can’t shake the winter funk? Check out our rundown of the most restorative spa treatments in and around Bath.
Circus Journal is a stylish lifestyle media brand with a design, editorial and production philosophy that we hope will change the way people think about regional magazines.
Embracing the new wave of independent publishing, Circus is a beautifully constructed, content-led print journal on style, culture and community, with a core readership of young working professionals who are frequently overlooked by regional media.
The quarterly journal showcases businesses at the top of their game, while also championing new talent, and also profiling the people who live and work in the area.
Circus has creativity at its heart and, as a product of the Instagram era, is visually driven with beautiful photography, illustration and a love of design that permeates every page.
Circus: The Bath Edition launched in 2018 and a sister publication for Bristol is due in 2019.
A new magazine from the brains behind the excellent The Eighty Eight, Circus was conceived as a free distribution title in and around Bath, but we think it deserves a much wider audience and are pleased to be able to offer a few copies vis Pics & Ink.
