Homesick Issue 3
3. HOMESICK ISSUE 3
Starting off as a free publication, Issue 3 is Homesick’s first chargeable issue. The magazine has transformed from a small newspaper style to a large, bookish format. The content is more revised, with high-quality archival imagery and delightfully in-depth artist interviews. Issue 3 hero features include: the first ever stylist Caroline Baker, cult hairdresser Keith Wainwright, portrait photographer Eddie Otchere, post-punk band The Raincoats, collector-provocateur Roger K.Burton, the illustrator Brian Sanders and many more...
My names Reagan - I’m the founder and creative director of Homesick Magazine. Homesick was born out of a relentless curiosity...
With a background working as an archivist and researcher, i love discovering hidden treasures. I wanted the magazine to feel like a discovery platform - offering a behind-the-scenes look into fashion, film, music and art - with content that can’t (for the most part) be found on the internet. At Homesick we interview some of the lesser-known creatives working in pop culture - digging into their own personal archives to find totally unique and inspiring content.
Homesick has gained substantial industry attention with Issue 2 of the magazine featuring in the brilliant Somerset House exhibition ‘Print! Tearing It Up’ in 2018. I also had the pleasure of speaking at the ‘ModMag London 2018’ event conference, and was invited to speak with the renowned ‘Monocle: The Stack’ podcast in early 2019.
