Lagom Issue 6
|Publisher Names||by Margin Media LTD|
With Lagom issue 6, we’re unveiling our new look: a new size, a new cover format, a revised typographic system, a number of refinements to our layout, and — above all — a decision to let the magazine’s photography really shine.
Unlike many other lifestyle magazines, who aim to sell readers an unattainable dream, we aim to inspire and motivate with genuine stories of creatives who’ve bravely set out on the road to independence, and to showcase destinations and products that are united by a love of quality craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and an entrepreneurial spirit. We celebrate creative communities across the world — some of which have already earned their place on the map; others of which are in the process of doing so.
Person, place, or product, we celebrate those who dare to follow their own visions — and do so with their feet on the ground.
Lagom is perfect-bound and printed on uncoated stock (300gsm cover, 140gsm interior), with a foil-blocked cover. Issue #6 contains 156 pages.

‘Lagom’ is a Swedish word with no direct English translation, but loosely describes the concept of having just the right amount of something: not too little, not too much. This general theme of leading a balanced life pervades every issue of Lagom and guides us to new stories.
The magazine is divided into three distinct sections: Visit, Create, and Unwind. Moving through each issue is a journey, looking behind the doors of inspirational workspaces, hotels, restaurants, and homes from around the world; meeting the entrepreneurs, makers, and craftspeople creating truly unique work; and winding down to learn about the pastimes and hobbies that help attain that all-important sense of balance in our busy, modern lives.
Unlike many lifestyle magazines, we eschew pomposity and keep our feet well and truly on the ground, celebrating people rather than image. We care about the personal stories behind the products and the motivations of the world’s creatives.
