Scoop Bio & issue info
Clementine Macmillan-Scott, Publisher, grew up in both London and New York, and currently lives in Sussex. She has worked in literary publishing on the editorial and agenting side. She spent two years in Sri Lanka running the Galle Literary Festival and implementing the Galle Children's Festival. She had the idea for Scoop two years ago when reading The Children's Newspaper, a paper that never talked down to it readers. It seemed to her that there was a need for such a publication for today's generation. She founded Scoop with the goal that as many children as possible should be able find their way into a love of reading.
